Gisele Pope has been painting, teaching and designing for more than 27 years. She is the co-author of three decorative painting books with illustrator Carla Kern, a stenciling + decorative painting book by Leisure Arts, and many painting packets. She has adapted her pattern and style in a line of stitchery patterns.
Known for her creativity and fearless artistic style, Gisele has been featured in numerous decorative painting and craft magazines, most recently with monthly articles in Paintworks magazine.
She and design companion, Nony Housh, co-own Motivational Magic!, an education and consulting company that focuses on interactive learning. Known for their insightful, interactive seminars, they understand the behind the scenes work necessary for success. Their focus has been with educating designers and retailers who are interested in increasing their creativity and profitability.
In 2010, Gisele was selected as the Advocate for Loew Cornell, creating, teaching and demonstrating brushes for painters of all levels. Gisele has been using their brushes for over 25 years. A longtime member of the Society of Decorative Painters, she has held various offices in her local chapter, as well as serving on the Society's Business and Press committees. Gisele’s passion to teach is reflected in all she does from her job at Loew Cornell to her convention and chapter classes to her own home studio classes in Boise, Idaho.
